frog-eyed gecko

hi all well i'm interesting in trying my hand with frog-eyed geckos... i was woundering if i can use liek play sand for the substrate... what kind of plants can i use if any....and what else would you all recomended..

You can use cleaned play sand. I've heard some folks use strained beach sand because Frog-eyes like the salt that comes along with it. Mine is in T-rex calci-sand and gas no problems. I've kept all kinds of geckos in play sand without a single problem over the years.
