nice gecko! i was there too, but didnt see much for offer in the way of crested geckos. did you buy that guy from the vendor that was at the back right near where they were having the bird show and other presentations? i noticed they had a "special" pair for $50. i noticed one of the vendors (selling them in little clear plastic boxes w/ a piece of pothos) was trying to sell one with floppy tail. i wasnt too impressed overall with availability of cresteds, there were maybe 2 or 3 adults at the whole show and they had pretty drab colors. ben siegel reptiles had a few nice ones, looked to be sub-adults. other than that, i was disappointed as could be cuz i travelled 5 or 6 hours down there to find some leaf tail geckos but absolutely no one had any with them. anyway, hope you enjoy your new guy!
I love that grey color! And I know what you mean about a show with lack or selection, at the show I got mine at, the LIHS expo, they had 5 cresties, and I got 2! There were 2 choclate, 2 dalmation chochlate, and 1 bucksin with red parents. I got the bucksin and a chohclate. All were babies. My buicksin is realy like a creamish/white/yellow color so its really cool!

yeah i got him fromthe booth at the far right end near the birds. he looks more grey in the pic but down his back is a flame pattern. and your right the selection was not the greatest in the cresteds department. i also bought a viper tail gecko from the Select Gex booth.

What a cute baby! It will be fun to see how the colors develop as it matures and from day to night. I went to the NARBC at Tinley Park and there were quite a few cresteds available, but NO SANDFIRE!! I would have loved to have seen what they had to offer especially since seeing "Combustible" posted by Randy May/NeoScales. I never see anything exceptional on their website, but I know they must have some beauties.
