When do you breed your ETB's and what methods do you use to get them in the mood.
they ussually breed in later winter/early spring when temps warm up a bit. As for getting them in the mood Raise the humidity along with the temps. You can try spraying them in the evening This seems to work with other boas.
ETB's are generally aseasonal breeders in that they will reproduce pretty much any time of the year but there is usually some environmental manipulation involved in order to get them "in the mood". Most breeders in North America are successful breeding the adults during the winter and have babies from late summer into the fall. I generally begin to cool my animals in late November and put them together in January.
There isn't a cut and dry "formula" to breeding Corallus, but if you start off with two healthy and properly sexed animals you have a good head start.
