I recently caught two of the biggest alligator lizards that I have seen. The smaller of the two is about 13 inches long with a short tail. Anyways I would like some help, any help, on breeding them. I don't think they hibernate were I caught them(Riverside County). Also how do you sex them, I think one may be gravid but how can you tell? I am aware of the legalities of breeding a California native species so I dn't need a lecture about that. Also incubation temps? Any other info I might have left out would be awesome.
