Another ANNA update

Well, she is taking her meds. The vet said that we will try the calcium supps for a little and see how it goes. I can start to see that she is losing weight despite her eggs, and im concerned. She is not eating on her own, what should i start force feeding her? Im going to try chicken baby food and sweet potato baby food...anything else? Im worried this will just bring her downhill, like Ralph.....(lets not get into that). She defecated today, so im POSITIVE she is not impacted, but the poop was runny, and light green (i tihnk from the gatorade they gave her). Any other suggestions to help her possibly lay that doesnt have to do with meds or the vet..that i can do in the mean time? Im geussing nothing...should i try warm bath? She is still twitching in her back legs, but she CAN move around on them. Ive put her in the laying bin but she just sat there for about 6-8 hours. That was a few days ago, i will try again tomorow morning. God i dont know if i can take this...my parents dont want me to keep spending all the money and want me to prepare for the worst...rrggg...the vet said she will give me a free checkup on friday to see how she is doing..at least thats good. Gosh i just want this to be over, AGH! Thanks

It sucks that she's still a little sick.

Maybe if you give her green pea baby food, chicken baby food along with sweet potat. baby food it might help her gain weight. Green peas help my animals gain weight.

That and pedialyte for dehydration and maybe constipation.

Ahh man that's good news that her legs have started working again. Hopefully with a bit more calcium she'll regain full control and be able to lay on her own. Good luck
