ooo thats neat, how old is your baby? I must admit that im fond of Iguanas also but cant have one.
he is about 3 months old, i can't wait till he gets a little bigger so i have an excuse to build a new enclousre for him.my wife said i can't build anything new until he outgrows this one which won't be very long. ( just had a 29 gal laying around the house empty)
when i do i am building a 6 foot tall by 6 foot long by 5 foot deep inset wall enclourse... i am good with carpentry like that
i will post pics of my new maple/granite sprayed leo boxes tommorow after they dry from tonights final coat of granite spray
here is a close up pic

good job, haha, i rarely see a properly set up iggy. its sad. a lot of reptiles have horrible lifes. just the other day, i saw a girl who was maybe 12, get a baby burmese python for her birthday. its disgusting. good luck with the baby.

your head will collapse, but there's nothing in it, and you'll ask yourself, "where is my mind"
yeah i know what you mean. i have had big lizzards all my life. to tell you the truth i have never had a lizzard in an aquarium for any lenth of time till i got into leos a few weeks back. i had to ask marcia over at golden gate where i bought a beautiful tangerine what fits in a ten gal and what size bulb to use to heat it heheh. but i had iguanas a long time ago and they lived long and got big i had one guy who weighed 12 lbs and was 5'9' head to tail big boy they have all since passed though and i thought i would get a new babby. i used to work in a pet store in mobile Al. called B&B pets this place was huge and i would see dumb parents toting off moniters and burms all the time for there little kids.even after i tried to explain to them that they would be dealing with a 12 foot snake that could eat their dog. i once saw a guy buy a nile moniter for a 5 year old. i know my nile was dangerous almost in that you had to be real carefull feeding and cleaning his enclousre. what is a 5 year old gonna do with a 5 foot reptile chainsaw ?
