Anyone have experience using a wine cooler for brumation??

snakeyes Nov 02, 2004 08:40 AM

I'm thinking about getting a wine cooler to brumate my milks and mtn. kings. Is anyone else here using this system? any info would be appreciated. are they airtight or can i just open the door a bit each day to circulate air? do i need to humidify the interior or leave it dry? Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

I prefer a Beer, but I guess a wine cooler would do the same. LOL! Just kidding. I think it might work, as long as the temps and humidity is good.

I used a mini fridge the first year I did it, that was great, stayed at a constant temp. I opened it up every day to check on everyone and in the end when I woke them all up none had lost any weight, in fact, two snakes GAINED weight while in there. So its the way I go!!
