Anyone using a Wine cooler for Brumation??

snakeyes Nov 02, 2004 08:49 AM

I'm thinking about getting a wine cooler to brumate my milks and mtn. kings. Is anyone else here using this system? any info would be appreciated. are they airtight or can i just open the door a bit each day to circulate air? do i need to humidify the interior or leave it dry? Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

I know that people in Florida are using them. I don't because it gets plenty cold where I am located.

I don't know about for brumation, but after about 5 or 6 you'll feel like brumating....
Seriously, I remember GB using them for his scarlet kings. I think if you have any large snakes or a large collection, that it would not be feasible to use a small "wine cooler".
I have to use the a.c. in my shed.
