A few curiosities... =)

I've heard that salmonella can be carried by BD's. Is this true?

Is it ok for my beardie to be fed an occasional mashed banana?

I have one of those flexible vines set up in my tank. A lot of times at night, my little beardie will climb up to the highest point on the vine, plant himself there and snooze away. It's funny; it looks like he could fall off anytime. Normal? :P

There is little risk of salmonella from bearded dragons but always practice proper hygiene when handling any animal, reptile or otherwise.

Those vine things could be a problem once the dragon gets older and heavier as they could come loose. Other than that, I suspect once the dragon gets too heavy to hold himself up, he won't be able to climb so high.
