Magnus passed away Sunday night

I am still not quite clear on exactly what was wrong but this is what I do know.

-the x-rays showed some sort of blockages (2) in the colon and the doc thought it looked like calcium.

-he could not use his back legs but started to move his tail more over the weekend

-the blood work came back showing kidney probs (doc said he prob had that a long time)

-he had some (2 I think) small red spots on his tail (lower side) and the doc said that it could be a infection and put him on antibiotics

all I do know is that he seemed perfectly healthy last week then went into his hide for 2 days. When he came out he was in bad shape and that was last monday.

Sorry Buddy, I know you have not had him long and you were so proud of him, as he was a magnificent looking little guy, really beautiful.

Hey sounds as if this was something he may have had for a long time, maybe he was born with this problem.

Feeling sad, and SUPER bummed for awhile is pretty normal. We all have had to be in that sad place, one time or another.

BUT...... Don't give up on your interest in these guys , or other lizards, you are a PERFECT lizard owner.

YOU seem like such a caring person.

We always need KIND and GOOD people, stick around !

Our thoughts are with you in your confusion over his illness and his lose.

Hes GOOD, don't worry about him! Hes in GREAT hands

>>Sorry for your loss.

Mine or uromagnus's?

I feel his pain. It's all too familiar for me. All I can say is this to Uromagnus: Look back at all the good times you had with eachother. Think of all the times you held magnus and he licked you and how much time you spent together. Dwell on the good times and not the bad. It helps heal the pain.
