When do I need to see a vet?

aliaime Nov 02, 2004 10:51 AM

I have a 2 year old Ball Python and a 1 year old Peruvian Boa. At what point do I take them to see a vet? So far there are no signs of disease.

If your lucky. The only time I would routinely see a Vet would be for a new animal to have it checked for parasites. If your snakes are healthy and don't have any health problems, there is no reason to see a vet. There aren't any vaccines or preventative vetinary practices for herps that I know of.
