Rio Grande chirping frog in my backyard in Guadalupe County, TX a few months ago. However, they're an introduced species to neighboring Bexar County, so it's not unexpected.
There was a population of prairie kingsnakes, undocumented in the scientific literature, in Bexar County until a couple of months ago, when the habitat was bulldozed for development.
