NOSE RUB!!!!! HELP

how do i stop my milk snake from rubbing its nose up against the glass?
his nose is alittle beat up but no scabs i just bought him today

One trick that has worked for me is to increase the size of the animals habitat. Also I would reccomend filling the cage with a substrate that the milk snake can burrow in. Another way that works well with lizards is too cover the glass with black construction paper to make the glass visible. Other than that milk snakes are pretty active snakes. They love to dig and to explore so the more soft bedding you provide for it too burrow and hide in the better.

thanx... hes a very curious guy. he likes to be handled so im happy about that. he was originally in a 2 in a half gallon at the pet store so i think that was what the problem was. i have layers of news paper and thats been working well.
