i've got a female quite similar to that, only she's got some thin light gree and very dark banding near the head and rear legs. other than that, very, very light in color.

whered you pick the phants up from? i travelled 6 hours to find some at the greenville, sc show but absolutely no uroplatus at the entire show.

mickejswe Nov 03, 2004 11:47 PM

I picked them up at a show here in sweden, tha reptile store that holds the show are also the ones from whom i bought my pietschmannis and my new sikorae male.
Has it gotten harder to get Uros in the states after the cites issues about uroplatus???
I know it will become harder here in sweden because there arent to many of us that breeds uros. But there are a pretty good chance of getting hold of CB Uros in germany in tha Hamm reptile show.
Have anyone of you been there???

best regards

This is the white sikoares brother, he is a bit more colorful than his sister. Both hatched 16/4-2004

great camoflauge picture you've got there. i saw the tail first thing, and then i was looking up and down for the rest of it.

as far as availability in the states, i would say a few of the species, i.e. phantasticus, ebenaui, and pietschmanni have been hard to come by especially if youre looking for females in particular. someone else brought to light that its just the time of year now where imports start coming in. lined leaf tails have seemed to be more available, followed by henkeli and sikorae. just gott do some digging to find some places to get them.
