Waxworms?

TailsPSU Nov 02, 2004 11:59 PM

Hey All,
I have a beardie who was given to me malnourished (as described in earlier post) and is definitely small for its age. I have been giving it dusted crickets and it has been doing real well with them. I want to get some variety in her diet (and fatten her up a bit), so I was wondering if Waxs were a good choice. She is about 10 in from head to tail... are they OK for her to digest or would they be too big if I ordered them online? Should I try a diff type of worm first? Any help would be appreciated.

no wax worms should not be a staple food they are very fatty...use only as a treat...i would rec. crickets or silkworms they are nutritionally the best
