Help Collard jumping

I am having problems with my collard lizard jump and scratch on the plexi glass and it is a real problem becuase its annoying and he is scrathing up the glass what can solve this for him to stop I recently made him a larger tank larger than a 55 gallon and he still is clawing?Help

I had this same problem with Tobias. I got him a new basking bulb which "helps with the psychological well-being" of the lizard... and I also got him a mate. The jumping has stopped completely.

But, if you don't want to go there, why not let him out and give him cuddles?

is there anything that could be causing him stress? are the sides and back covered with something? some lizards just like to be active. maybe you put something in with him that he could climb on. i am not sure what but it could be something to think about
