Hey, this is for all free roam ig´s owners. Where do your igs do their "stuff"?? I mean, I really wouldn´t like my room all filled with ig things... My adult male only poops in his water dish, but that´s not Tania´s case.
I know they choose one certain place to poo, but I was just wondering where your igs do it.

Sunshine heads strait for the bathroom every time. When i first got her (A rescue...she was an adult already) i would soak her every nite. She eventually learned where the poo goes. She cant get into the tub so she poops under it! She will also wait at the bathroom door paitently if someone is in there....

I don't think I'm gonna be a big help to you in that Forest is older, fat & lazy. LOL.

He is very regular about doing his "job" outside everyday. I take him outside to bask for a few hours every day always in the morning & every afternoon. He goes every morning & every afternoon as long as I keep his time outside pretty regular. Twice a day, outside & he's darn good about taking care of business then.

I don't skip an outside time & he, in return, doesn't leave me any surprises. He's a great boy & I'm so lucky.

Then again, Forest is almost 8 years old, knows where the door is when he's done & can be left alone for short periods of time.

Thought of a kitty pan? Forest's previous owners said he used one, although never has since he's been here. It's all outside for him now.

Maybe that would work?

my igs dont free roam but one does use a kitty pan filled with water. 2 of my others use cookie sheets with paper towls in them. most of the time they do pretty good. you just have to find out what they prefer to use.

No need to be sorry. We WANT to share information learned about these wonderful green guys/girls. My free roamer poops in the tub during her morning bath. I then drain the water, and rinse her off, and the tub out. If, for whatever reason, she doesn't poop in the tub, she will poop outside, in the afternoon, when we take her out for fresh air and sunshine.
