Hello to all, I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites for the psychology behind color changing. I've found pleanty good ones on the science behind how they do it, but now i'm more interested in why they do it. I've been looking for research done in this area, but so far i've come up empty.

by typing "chameleon color" into the search field. However, you may have to have a subscription to read them or use that site. Thru the University I have access to a lot of scientific journals. Is this the kind of thing you are looking for? I can read through them later, if you like.

Atelerix=Hedgehog?? I was just curious about your name. What does it mean? I know there is a class of Hedgehogs with the scintific name Atelerix (african I believe).
