How many Chondros...

gummybearpoop Nov 03, 2004 04:10 PM

... does it take to satisfy a person??? It seems like you can never have enough. I was just wondering how many chondros everyone has. I have 3. No more until the New Year, unless something I can't pass up comes up.

You are absolutely correct. My collection consists of 6.4.11....a total of 21. Not very many compared to some keepers. I like other stuff too.

Those 11 are unsexed holdbacks or yearlings I suppose? Well, I've seen some of your collection in pics you've posted and you have an awesome collection of quality animals. I wanted to get a Sedgewick County Zoo offspring from you(you produce some, right?), but a little out of my budget this year. Maybe next year or time. Those animals are screamers at a good price.

in Daytona I brought home 6 more chondros that I had purchased prior to the show..... I swear..... I REALLY, REALLY thought that would be the topper for my collection and wouldn't have to add anymore for years at the soonest (27 chondros total) and wouldn't you know it..... yep..... along comes another opportunity to purchase a baby that I had my eyes on from the time I heard of the breeding. I avoided checking the very same babies out in Daytona in my effort to "be good".

Yeah right..... a baby from that clutch will be coming home pretty soon too!!

hopelessly addicted.....

NOW I'm done!! anyone want to take a wager?

ack.. read the post just made.... the pic is of one of the snakes I brought home from Daytona.... going to have to wait to share pix of the new one!!

That chondro is AWESOME! Parents or background???? If I went to Daytona, I would've maxed out some credit cards. I seem like a rookie with 3 chondros. lol. I gotta win the lottery, so I can catch up with you guys. Beautiful animals everyone.

This one is one of two sibs I purchased from Trooper out of his Old Yeller x Big Bird clutch. I'll be getting updated pix of both of them this weekend as they both shed in the last week!!

As for my count on my addiction: 12 Adults of which one high yellow, Nicoli/Sipperly female is gravid with eggs expected (**fingers crossed**) by the end of the month, and 27 juveniles. The chondros are slowly taking over...*grin*

I'm at just one with one coming, but I have this itch that I'm sure I'll keep scratching, lol!

gummybearpoop Nov 04, 2004 12:17 AM

If the mosquito bites; to hell with it, I'm gonna keep scratching. Your choices are awesome. I like how some of the breeders offer payment plans. I am gonna have to do that. I'm considering selling my 1966 mustang fastback to fund some projects and travelling, but I don't know. So much to do in life, so little time and money. Keep us posted on your new findings, and I'll do the same. Good luck.

I own 7
I hope to have a few offspring this year should I be fortunate enough.

gummybearpoop Nov 07, 2004 02:13 PM

lol.. I probably couldn't afford any of your pairings. Keep us posted. Income taxes might be done by then. Your collection is awesome.
