Can a Rough green grass snake live happily with a Veiled chameleon without problems?

ummmm....in the same cage you mean??? I would say no. Snakes and chams do not mix (actually chams and chams dont mix). All chams should have their own cages and not have any other inhabitants there that arent meant for food.

It's never a good idea to mix species from different habitats (and hemisphere's in this case) as they may not have resistance to each other's normal bacteria or parasites. The grass snake will climb and annoy the cham, the cham may annoy the snake as it moves around too. The snake just might take a grab at the cham.
