Well, best of luck to you. I'm not real keen on the ins and outs of the BlackHeads, but the one seems to stand out as different from any others I've seen. Just a little different, or something genetic possibly going on? Either way, I hope you end up with a good healthy clutch of eggs. Take care

Blackhead Pythons are awesome. The best snake species I've ever worked with. They're just insanely cool. They're very active & always seem to be about and almost bulletproof in hardiness aspects. And, yes, these appear to be from a line that turns red after adulthood. I've heard of several other adults that did the same thing. The female is going through the change right now. Six months ago her bands were solid dark brown almost black. Every shed she gets more color. Kinda cool.
I agree they are a blast to work with. I've seen a few out there like yours. Mine are typical black striped. Good luck with your breeding.
