Well, I suppose I'm different. I'm a chemist, have a degree. I didn't vote for kerry though. Don't think education has too much to do with it.

I'll also note the following:

53% of people who only finished high school voted for Kerry
55% of people who had some college and who finished college voted for Bush
57% of people with graduate degrees Voted For Kerry

However historically
It is around 55% of people with graduate degrees vote republican.

I see religious ignorance is the order of the day. Sorry Eric, no one said anything about aborting babies for stem cell research, so get off your pulpit. What has been the source of such research is left over frozen eggs that can no longer be used by fertility clinics and would otherwise be destroyed. Also cells from the umbilical are quite usable as well. A far cry from what you are claiming.

Rodney...I don't know where you are getting your info from but I get mine from the Biology dept at Florida Atlantic university where my better half studies. Funny but the prevailing additude is the opposite of what you claim. I think I will stick with Nancy Reagan on this one.

There is nothing more foolish than to close a door on a cure without even checking the room.

As to the drug companies..Why would they back research that might make many of their medicines (that they spent so much to produce) obsolete? If they are money orriented then that is bad business.

On a different level....It's like the old story that they search hard for the cure to cancer...but they get their paychecks from the research grants for looking (not finding), if they find it, the researchers are out of a job....

Seriously spelling has nothing to do with being a good writer. My english teacher can't spell for **** and yet she teaches english. good teacher too.
