Pipping Candycane....

Waiting for them to crawl out of that egg is the worst, you get this little tease as to what they look like. So I will keep myself busy posting some pics of my favorite Phase incuding it's many variations. Miami Phase!

Wow, I love that snake. I've only seen Motley Miamis at the photo gallery at SMR. Why aren't they abundant?
Do you have any more pictures?

carol Jul 01, 2003 09:30 AM

These guys are still very rare, Don S. is the only other person I know of who is working with these. They are not abundant because they are a very difficult morph to create since the Miami coloration is not inherited like a simple recessive (like amel). It takes a long time of line breeding to get one close to what you want. But now that some have been produced, they will become more available and better looking with each year. I have a couple other pics, however I am out of space in my photo gallery so maybe tonight I will have some time to delete something and post another pic.

Absolutely stunning!! I have no room for a new project but someday I would love to work with those. You have some really nice snakes.

I was browsing through the Photo Gallery and I really think that two-tone Okeetee you have there is really something special! I have never seen anything like it. I hope you are gong to keep some of his babies to see if it is genetic!
