Pure white albino

Kollan Jun 30, 2003 12:19 AM

hey guys I'm new to Leo's but today I baught an adult albino male for $45. I noticed that this gecko had no yellow on it thugh; however, it still has the pattern so it dose not look like a blizzard. It also does not have blue eyes. He has the normal pinkish white spots but where the yellow normaly is it is pure white. So in other words he looks like a blizzard with normal eyes and a faded pattern. I wannted to know if this was normal. All of the albinos I've seen are pinkish white and yellow. Thanks Kollan

Post a pic

could be a light phase albino, could have some snow characteristics, or maybe he is just getting ready to shed...

Leopard geckos usually lose the blue over their eyes as they mature. If he is an albino adult, you may just have a light phase but for the price, it sounds like a patternless. Where did you buy him from?

No, it does not have blue eyes and hes not in a shed because the day I got him he shed. He also still retains a faint pattern I'll try to have some pics in a few days.
