Blizzard Project ... a second Opinion...

mrbirgel Nov 03, 2004 10:09 PM

I have a trio from Jeremy that we bred this year year we got 12 babies, 3 aneries, 1 albino and the rest are 66% ph blizzards. We sold one of the anery's however we kept the other two because there is something odd about one of the two. One was born very silver and has a slight bit of paradoxing in him. He is Black, white and silver with ZERO yellow. However in the tail is some red blotches just like a parodox albino. He is not a normal lacking red he is a anery through in through just showing the paradox gene. The other male ( pictured ) is black white and pewter with a black tail looking mor CA then the one Jeremy posted. In person he is awesome and I hope he proves out to be het albino down the road. This year we will be pairing the adult females up again to the double het male in high hopes of finally producing a blizzard. The type 2 gene seems stronger for some reason the the type one gene these boys have been pounding food and doing very well. This is one of the best snow/blizzard projects out there and I am very glad to be a part of it. If you have the means to purchase hets possible hets or aney's you should..
Thank you

Not to be a jerk but how can any animal be said to be het for something that up until this point does not exist? Until the blizzard project proves out I don't see an animal as being het for that trait. I'm selling het for invisible boas, a pic of what will be produced can be seen here. Am I missing something?

Also in the aneries that have been produced there is no yellow this is a big clue to the blizzard, It may be a little over zealous to assume the project is just about proven but the evidence is directly in front of us... It was decided long ago that this project be titled the blizzard project by Jeremy Stone so I market it as the originator did.
