Poop Problem please advise!

momtowildones Nov 03, 2004 10:27 PM

Today I noticed that one of my leos pooped unigested mealworms. This was the first time I have ever seen this. NOW--- she was stressed out because I took her to school with me. Could this be the problem? I am going to of course watch her VERY carefully and see if this continues and then a trip to the vet will happen. Just basically wanted to know if stress could cause ths. Thanks for your help!!

no pic thanks ew..
Anyhue did you feed her right before you took her? Did she eat more than usual?

If not you're doing the right thing by monitoring her for a while and taking her to a vet if anything comes up

good luck

why not?

If you can't stand the site of gecko poop then simply don't view the image.

I think you were right. She ate alot and I packed her up early in the morning and she stressed and got an upset stomach. I just gave them mealies the night before and they all pigged out. (they are a treat for them) I am still going to watch very carefully though. Thanks for you input

Maybe it was stress, and/or it could have gotten colder than usual and not been able to digest it all when you took it.
Mine did this once. It hasn't done it since.

Most likely she regurgitated them from being stressed from moving or not enough heat. It's unlikely she pooped them out like that if normally she passes normal stools.
