Some true dwarfs, pics of babies

FR Nov 04, 2004 09:24 AM

Heres some picks of true dwarfs, the top two are V.gilleni and the bottom one is, V.caudolineatus.

These are hatchlings that are 2months of age or less, both species can and do breed at around nine total inches. The gilleni can be over five inches at hatching. Caudos hatch out much smaller.

Its funny to me, to think that all you have to do is raise a monitor a few inches from hatching size and its large enough to breed. Afterall, some species have to be raised feet to have that happen.

second clutch 04

first clutch 04

Enjoy FR

I know 2 people both with proven breeder pairs!!! Proexotics for one, and Scott Moser is the other. I'm on Scotts waiting list and if pro exotics had one I'd be on theirs as well! Now I have to wait!

Ugh...thought both pairs were proven. Especially because they came from the leading producer. Guess I was wrong.

I have some, but I am not sure I am working with them. In fact, I never worked them. They breed and sometimes i dig up eggs, is that working with them? hahahahahahahahahaha

Yea, it was nice seeing you again and I hope all is going well. I was wearing one of your shirts the other day. I do enjoy wearing them. Virgina and Dave said Hi. Cheers FR

Ha.. Ok maybe not working with. I recently saw a nice picture of yours from 02 of a baby albig, with the zig zag pattern.. Would really love to have a baby like that as a pet type thing, not for breeding. I love those monitors!!

I grew out of the few shirts i have left!! Maybe get some more printed up, ha.

See ya later

always

Alls you have to do is wait, like im doing for mine to get in their groove, im also trying to get a couple more for a good solid group, and yes it is working with them, serving them food, constant monitoring of their temperatures, scooping out their messes, giving them fresh water everday, sometimes twice, blackthroats and white throats are time consuming especially when you have 8 of them.

I meant the caudos & gilleni, I have little interest in albigs.

Keep an eye on the classifieds, I may sell some gilleni in the future. I have one more clutch to hatch, then I will decide what I keep and what I excess. Thanks FR
