When I was younger (approx. nine years ago), at the age of seven, I purchased an albino California Kingsnake. At that time I was unaware of any permit requirements and did not recieve one. Are there any potential reprocusions for not obtaning one?

It would depend on the mood the state is in. More that likely they would just make you get the permit. But they could also fine you, fine you and take the animal or both. But being it is what it is they would most likely warn you and make you get the permit.
