today i found a few sugar ants in some of my BD enclosures. Are sugar ants harmful to BD's? If so, what would be the best way to get rid of them??

thanks

I don't know if they're harmful or not. I just found them in the leo tank tonight (again). I thought I'd gotten rid of them, but apparently not. Now the tank is in a new location while I treat again.

We use a product called Terro. It's absolutely great. We had a bad problem last year in one area of the house with ants. It seems the hamsters had thrown a bunch of food out of their cages behind the stand they were on, and the ants were just carting it all over.

We got some of the Terro liquid, moved all the hammy cages, and within 3 days, the ants were completely gone.

I'm about to do the same thing in the area where the leopard gecko tank usually sits.
