Those are very cool spinys. Wonder how you sex them?
so very small . But I would think they will color up differently soon. Males will show more greenish, and females more brn/tan.
When they are a bit older I will check undersides.
I'm just hoping they will be okay, I hear its tough with these.
I'm leaving them cooler than the adults and misting more also.
They seem to drink alot, everytime I mist, they drink.
As I had heard once they need to be cooler, so we will see. This is new to me, I have never had emerald kids before, so its a learning experience.
We have talked before about different spinys, I do really like them. Maybe desert spinys next year, :0)
Heres the proud papa, the very handsome GRINCH ! Moms wants to spruce up before any photo shoots ahahhahahha !
I'm sure you already saw all my pics on the collared fourn Will, sorry, LOL just happy about them!

Are those Sceloporus sp.? If they are, you can sex all the species I'm aware of immediately. If you flip them over, males have a pair of enlarged scales in the fold just past the vent. Females lack these scales. You can check for them on your adults to see if this species has them.

I have not even tried yet, just letting them do there thing eat and grow abit more. It's been almost a month and they are doing well, Little emeralds

I snapped a couple of pics of our office pets (S. graciosus) to show you what I'm talking about. This is the male, look for the paired enlarged scales just past the vent, these will be visible on hatchlings. You can also see the pores along his back legs, but these can be difficult to see in very young lizards.

Here's a female. You can see that she lacks those paired enlarged scales past her vent and the pores along her back legs are much less developed.
-Alice

Very nice of you to post them! I will be sexing them as they are now a month old and still doing well.
Figured I would give them time to thrive before attempting to grab at them. But its time,
They are Fat and Quick ! Really appreciate your sexing help.

Try it on your adults first & let me know if it holds true for them. I think that these traits are present in all Scelops but I've only had experience with the native species.
