I am VERY happy to post this picture. This is a picture of my first snake ever (Franklin) eating for the first time in almost 10 full months. In september of last year franky got an infection in the area of his cloaca under the scales. It was very serious, after many trips to the vet and many anti-biotic shots as well as other topical treatments he wasn't showing much improvements. The vet assured me that attempting to feed him and giving him time to heal is the only next step. Between giving my number one snake shots everyday, and thoroughly cleaning him out internally with betadine and pharmaceutical q-tips I'd lost a bit of hope over time.
Franky is getting better! The expensive vet bills, and disconcerning medical attention I gave him was all well worth it! Thanks to those who looked.
