Thawing methods

guttersnacks Nov 04, 2004 03:52 PM

I dont like feeding my snakes dripping wet mice, and I cant seem to find a ziplok bag that keeps water out, or toenails poke holes in them.
I have a friend who sets his mice in front of his space heater which blows hot air over the mice. The heater I have wont work in this application.
How do YOU thaw your mice?

I use ziplock bags in hot water and rarely had any leaks. However i don't like the brand name ziplock bags as I find they are made with too thin plastic. Instead I buy the no name version which (at least the no name brand I get at No Frills) seem to be made of thicker plastic and seal better.
