I'm having a hard time getting my dumeril's to get off mice and on rats, any advice. Also the place i buy my rats and mice from, the adult mice a lot smaller then the small rats, at least half their size, is this just the store or is this normal

First of all are you feeding live or fresh killed. If you are feeding live you need to switch to f/k or f/t. Then rub a mouse all over the rat to make it smell like a mouse and then your dumerils should accept the rat.

that we do with our boas is to feed a very small mouse to the snake to get its feeding response started and then try a rat right after it finishes the mouse. It has helped us switch over a few boas. Good luck.
