We recently moved all of our snakes into my partners new building, which is two story - snakes on top floor and mice and rats on the bottom floor. During the course of moving everything in, one of our 04 het Sonorans escaped. We figured he would show up eventually being attracted to the smell of the rodents, but never expected this:
Apparently, my partner found it yesterday in one of the screen top mouse cages on the floor and it had eaten an adult mouse!!!! It was in one corner of the cage of weaned out mice with a huge lump in it and the rest of the mice on the opposite side of the cage!!! He says it looks like that well-known picture of the African Rock python that has just consumed a gazelle or impala or whatever it was. He will hopefully get a pic taken and I will scan it whenever I can. Hungry little devil!!!
