Bubbles (circle back) sheds... and changes... What will she look like as an adult?

gurnham4 Nov 05, 2004 03:58 PM

This is Bubbles my new little gecko that i got about 2 weeks ago. She recently shedded. I noticed that the yellow in her circles is starting to fade, and that some of the lavender is turning yellowish. What do people think she might end up looking like when she is full grown? is her circles going to go from yellow to white and her lavender to turn yellow? I also noticed alittle orange spots growing at the base of her tail (too small to see in picture)

Here is a photo of my adult male circleback. He looked a lot like yours when he was a juvenile (double pattern, just like yours).

Sorry.. I deleted the pic from the photo gallery and it must have destroyed the link. I will repost it shortly... I am not at home this second and I need to download it from my home computer.

If all's well, you should see a leo!

gurnham4 Nov 07, 2004 03:13 AM

are these his circles?

trevsky Nov 07, 2004 12:30 PM

Yes, those are/were his circles. Even though they have broken up, I think he looks cool. Some abberant babies grow up to look like spotted regular leo's. He still looks very abberant in my opinion.

You asked about abberant patterns on the post below. This female was almost pitch black as a juvenile, she had a thin light yellow stripe down her back and the regular banded tail. She was 5 grams then and over 40 now. She has kept the stripe, though I wish she'd of kept more of the black pigment.
