From the Boa Constrictor Manual:
The Hog Island & the "common boa" are both BCI (Boa constrictor imperator) species. The Red-Tailed is a BCC (Boa constrictor constrictor).

The BCI includes the Hog Island and a lot of other sub-species/locales. There are differences between them, otherwise there would not be sub-species, right? I would suggest searching through the classifieds for some pics and reading previous with titles including the names of the snakes you are curious about. There are plenty of people here that have posted pics of their Nicaraguans, Hog Islands, Mexicans, Commons, and maybe some of the Caulker Cays (B.C.Imperator) and their B.C. constrictors so you can compare and contrast them.

There are some obvious differences. Color, pattern, and size come to mind immediately. I have had a few too many to keep going, or maybe I have gone too far already.
