Some of the guys at work caught this Bull and were going to kill it. A couple of us convinced them to release it. We snapped a couple photos then released it away from the building.

Hopefully, they will realize after you showed them that these animals are not to be feared...and may spare the next one they come across.
Snakes have enough trouble with cars and habitat destruction to have to worry about being intentionally killed.

I new it wasn't Florida. By the way, the snake looks like a lamb in the photo-was it?
I'm just south of Denver myself. As for the weeds, those things are like grass around here.
