I purched this male from Glades Herp 14 years ago as a hatchling.
At the time it was advertized "Glade's Best". It has been one of my
favorite snakes.

He is one beautiful snake. I just bought a 04 male everglades from glade herps last month. So far he has been super. He eats greats and is surprisingly clam for such a young snake. I love to watch the little guy come out at night and explore his cage.
How long is your male EG? I would like to know what my little guy may some day reach.

Like I said; I`m Gonna Getcha Good!
He is around six feet long. A few years ago I started to feed him rats and he started to grow faster than what he had been. This surprised me since he was around 9 or 10 years old and had not been growing much.
I own several everglades rats and they are hard to beat. Good luck on your hatchling!
I agree, they are one of my all time favourite ratsnakes. I have noticed that mine have also continued growing quite fast even though they are over 5 years old and have been breeding every year since they hit maturity. Wonder if anyone has noticed something similar in the other obseleta subspecies or if it is just peculiar to everglades?
