crested gecko and african giant millipede

Exit_Mouse Nov 05, 2004 09:45 PM

I heard that you can house a crested gecko and an african giant millipede together. So I was wondering how do you go about doing this? would they eat eachothers food or anything?

I think that might have been in a Vosjoli book--but in subsequent discussions it's been said that the young of these millipedes are toxic and might be eaten by the cresteds, so it's probably not a good idea. The reason for the millipedes was supposed to be to feed on the waste, sort of the way some catfish are utilized in aquaria.

well if I did house them together I would only put one millipede in or if more i would have them all be one gender, but first i need a crestie...
