new iggy

yoshis_mom Nov 06, 2004 12:47 AM

I don't know if anyone remembers, but I made a post October 7th about my Iguana not eating. Thanks to all those who replied, but sadly, he passed on the next day I'm thinking maybe he was really sick, I mean he only lasted for 3 days. It sucked.

My boss gave me another iggy that was donated to us. He is 2 years old and the size of a juvenile. My boss said he should be 4 feet right now, is this true at the age he is? He came in very emaciated. I'm starting to bring him back though, he eats every day and a very good amount, he's a little monster. He literally pounces on me when he sees me take out the food. Which makes me very happy because of my last one not eating, I was worried about this one.

Another question, my boss also said since he hasn't grown much, and wasn't fed properly, he won't grow in the future. So I'm wondering if I bring him fully back, and he's still eating good and getting the proper nutrition, is it true that he won't grow to full size?

Thanks guys!
