Orange Colored Feces?

tattoogirl212 Nov 06, 2004 11:58 AM

I noticed that one of my beardies has had orange-colored feces for the past few days. There is no undigested food in the movement, he is eating fine. Could it be I am putting too many carrots in the veggies, or could it be something more serious? I had stool samples tested when I brought them home, all was fine. The other beardie is passing regular, brown movements.
PLEASE HELP!

My guess would be too much carrots. Cut out the carrots for a week and see if that makes a difference. Other causes of yellow or orange poo could be coloured pellets, if you feed any of those. Some flowers may have natural dyes that could do that as well. If she is healthy and active otherwise, then deffinitely would say it's the carrots doing it.
