How hard is it to move 100% hets for unknown breeders?

JDalbo Nov 06, 2004 12:19 PM

I was thinking of breeding my albino x normal this coming year mainly as a practice breed for my albino x 100% het breeding late next year. I was wondering how hard it is to sell 100% het albinos if I'm an unknown breeder, either on Kingsnake or at a show. I want to breed for hets as practice before I breed for albinos, but dont have the space for 4 or 5 hets if they dont sell. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

It's really not as hard as one would think. Make up your own paper work, and you'll need to guarantee they are hets. Get pictures of the babies along with your signature. If your at a show bring your albino with you. Get pictures of your albino breeding your females and pictures of them on eggs as well as eggs hatching. Then set your price and go from there. Good luck.
