Egg color.

gumbymon Nov 06, 2004 01:21 PM

My girl just had her first batch of eggs. The eggs are white but most of them are not pure calcium white, they are like a nude color where you can see shadows from the inside of the egg when you put a flashlite on them. She gets a lot of calcium in her diet. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated here.

I've had some that were also like that, and they hatched out just fine. I've also had bullet-shaped eggs. You didn't say exactly when the eggs were laid. But you'll know if they're good in about two weeks. They'll either start developing a little more, or going bad. You'll definitely see the difference.
Hope this helps,
Cricket
