Ok, Im getting a baby diamond caimen and ill let ya know what I have. Hes going in a curved glass aquarium which measures L-48 in. W-18 in. and H-21 in. I half way have it set up but I would like some pics/ideas on how to make it look great. As of right now I have the substrate as black gravel with a giant artificial fancy plant ( However I would like to put real plants in there but I don't know if a.) It would work? and b.) Which ones I can put in there? I also have some slate rock thats stacked up so he can get under or on top. I have alittle money left to play around with so if there is a substrate that would be better, or anything that I could get to kinda make the aquarium look more realistic like his habitat any ideas would be greatly appriciated. My advise is to make it easy to clean. You don't need a lot of stuff in the tank with it so save your money. In a year or so, this setup will be too small for it anyway.
