draybar Nov 06, 2004 04:09 PM

The first one is an '03 Natural, Sadie:

The next two are Natural hatchlings

Very nice pics, and very nice snakes! My favorite "morph" to boot! The other colors and patterns are pretty, can't deny it, but Normals, or as you say Naturals, are still my hands down favorites!

Caught that huh?
I just can't stand calling them "normals"
Nothing normal about them
I think I will just keep using "natural" until it catches on or I get burned at the stake...LOL

If you don't like "Normal" (which I'm not crazy about either) I've heard the term "Wild Type" tossed around. Kathy uses "Classic" for her really nice "Normals". But that's her term so I'm not sure we can borrow it for snakes that aren't Loves.

This is my Normal, she doesn't look like most Normals, but really doesn't fit into any other category either. There is no morph that is brown saddles on a gray background with orange sides. Miami's have the gray background, but not brown saddles. Anerys can have brown and gray, but since she has the orange on her sides I don't think she's an Anery. Whatever you call her, she's beautiful to me!

Mysty

Almost looks like a amber miami. Very cool looking corn. I like her alot. Are you going to breed her? And if you are what do you plan to pair her up with?
Thank you
Chuck

No plans for breeding. I only have the two Corns. Mysty is up there in age anyways. My other corn, Suezo, was hatched this summer at a local pet store. He only has one eye. His brother was really badly deformed and died. A few of his other siblings were born with kinks. They gave him to me because they wanted to be sure he would not be bred for fear of passing on any genetic defects. So even if I wanted to breed Mysty, I don't have a mate for her. I'm glad you think she's pretty. I sure do!

This is my little one eyed corn Suezo. He won't eat on his own, but I've gotten very good at force feeding and he's doing well and is growing. Very friendly too. Has already done several demos and is very good with kids. The missing eye does not seem to bother him at all.

Profile of side with missing eye...

Nope Chuck
They are nice little guys though.
I traded a couple of my normals for those two normals and another hatchling.
Add new blood.
Unfortunately I do not know if there are any unknown hets.
