Twins!

ronda Nov 06, 2004 04:42 PM

My subocs *finally* started hatching yesterday, and what a joy to find this:

They had both emerged from their egg by this morning, and they are not identical. None of the other eggs have pipped yet.

And they are silvers too! You have to love that!
I had my almost first pair of twins this year. I had a honduran born with two heads but one of the heads was dead at birth so I froze it.
I cant wait until all my trans pecos are ready to breed over the next couple of years. After looking at your twins it just gets me that much more worked up and ready.
Congrats! Randy Whittington

Rhonda,

Not only is that great news but that is an amazing picture you captured. My only set of twins was from a clutch of Taiwans and I figured it out when I had seven eggs but eight babies crawling around the incubator ( : Best of luck with them and of all of your breeding projects!

Cheers,

Tom

Congrats. I'd be interested in hearing how well the twins progress. Will they be any less successful than the others in the hatch?

I have to agree, totally Amazing Photo! Congrats on the new babies and awesome moment caught on film!
