Pastel Questions (White Spots)

arctic_castle Nov 06, 2004 05:53 PM

We have a pastel we purchased in Florida at the Reptil Expo. He has a few aberrant patterns we have not seen before. The other is the white spot on his neck. It is not a scar, cut or bite. We are not sure what it is but it appeared after his last shed. If you have any ideas of what it could be, please reply or email us.

...a small area of depigmentation, or actual pigmentation with white pigment. You see these things occasionally. My original male Indian python (P. m. molurs) had a similar but rounder white spot about 4 scales in diameter with completely normal scales. Nothing to be concerned about.
