I doubt if you get any responses to this post. Apparently if a poat doesn't have the letters "BTS" in it, it's not considered interesting. I would love it if there was another forum just for BTS.

I don't know much but here's what I know. I think I must be the only person who has one and I haven't had it long.

First they are the biggest skink in the plains region. Juveniles are 2 1/2 inches at birth with a blue tail. Adults can reach up to 7 inches in length. Adult males have orange on their heads. They are distinguished because they have divergent scales rather than parallel ones along the mid section. They are mainly insectivorious and live on the ground, preferring the cover of rocks and logs. Often in drier climates they are found along streams. Adults are known to eat pinkies. They have a powerful bite and their tales break easily.

If you find out anything I don't know, let me know and we'll learn together. I'm fascinated by this lastest addition in my herp family.
