My female gila has been laying on her back the past couple of days. I'm pretty sure she is gravid. Would this indicate she is about the lay eggs?

I don't think sleeping on the back means anything. My males do that frequently. If you find her restlessly roaming the cage and scratching to get out, that might be a sign she's about to lay.
I've never heard of gilas sleeping on their back! How weird! Is that typical of captive bred only, or has anyone seen this in wild-caught as well?
Of my four gilas, I have one that occasionally sleeps on its back. Here's a picture of it doing its thing. First time posting a pic, hope it works.
