I'm going to impose a question to all of you out there.

Do you think that a uro and a gecko can get along, and live in the same terrarium and not fight?

This is a question that will be answered by me, using my personal experience in the subject.

No experience with gecko's is necessary. Just a guess is fine. It doesn't matter, it's just an opinion question, no one will be wrong.

physically fight? maybe not
psychologically fight? most definitely
i have seen pictures of what uros do to each other when fighting and i remember a story not too long ago where i think a uro ripped apart a desert ig. uros and igs are alot meatier and stronger than a gecko in my opinion, so i could only imagine what a uro would do to it

thats one of the most irrisponsible things ive evr heard...first off they will fight theres a HUGE size difference..and second of the husbandry is miles apart for both of them if you stick a gecko in a cage that hot it will die...they cant handle 120 degrees on a basking site ...plz use better judgement and DO NOT put them together

I don't think he was saying he was going to put them together, just asking opinions?

The only gecko I can think of that even comes close to the size of a uro would be a Tokay, who are notoriously ill-tempered. I keep several geckos, and most need high humidity, with the exception of leos but even they don't need it so dry and not nearly as hot as uros need it.

Let me just say that dennis2704 pretty much said what I would. What scares me is that I'm guessing that you, or someone you know, has this set up and contrary to popular beliefs, they "get along." That doesn't make it right. They have no business being together and their naturals habitat are literally worlds apart. If I'm way off base, great, and may I suggest another form of a survey question.

There is no correct answer to this question. You all passed.

No I don't house my gecko with my uro's. My gecko has her own little nice setup ( I think her setup's the best out of all of them).

See this is how I got to post this question. Yesterday I had Ares out, my 2nd brother (the middle child) had Apollo out and my oldest brother (first born) had Kalypso out and we all had them on my mom's bed. Neither my second brother nor myself saw that Kalypso was out. Ares was chillin on my hand when Kalypso ran over to him and started licking him. Then she decided to lay down next to him and go to sleep becuase he was warm.

After she laid down I told my brother to pick her up and put her back in her home or take her to another room.

No one got bitten, and no one got mentally scared(they were together for less then 10 seconds, she's a fast mover when she wants to be).

That was my personal experience. Nothing happened to either of them, well except Ares got an extra bath (he needed it though, he's shedding his whole body).

Oh and for those of you who do not know I'm a 0.2 (aka female).
